About the Center for Traditional Medicine
Dr . Noel Peterson opened his practice in downtown Lake Oswego, Oregon in 1978. In 1990, he moved his practice two blocks and began the Center for Traditional Medicine P.C. to focus his practice on pain management and regenerative procedures. Our goal is to encourage optimum biological function regardless of chronological age. He has worked with thousands of clients from his surrounding community, providing wide ranging treatment for a host of pain related conditions for over 25 years. He has studied and practiced trigger point therapy for 15 years, and prolotherapy since 1999, and has given thousands of prolotherapy and trigger point injections to hundreds of patients. He uses multiple methods of detoxification ranging from cleansing diets to intravenous chelation therapy.
Like all medical practices, regenerative therapy is as much an art and skill as it is a science, and to this end he takes every possible opportunity to sharpen his skills and mind in the practice of prolotherapy, trigger point therapy, and other regenerative procedures. Every patient is approached as a new and fresh opportunity for learning as well as healing. Regenerative therapies encompass the range of treatments that cause or encourage the growth and repair of weakened and damaged connective tissues, and restoration of optimum cell function. Prolotherapy injections, trigger point injections, hormonal support, detoxification, chelation, and nutritional support all contribute to and encourage the growth and repair of connective tissue and cell vitality.
Our staff is experienced and compassionate. They pride themselves in providing courteous, efficient, and professional service to our clients. We understand that people in pain are under unique stress, and require exceptional care and support. That's why we go the extra mile for them. Dr. Peterson has served his professional community in many capacities, ranging from 6 years of service to the people of Oregon as a member of the Oregon Board of Naturopathic Examiners, to 3 years as Medical Director of the Portland Naturopathic Clinics of the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, and 3 years serving on the board of directors of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians. His curriculum vitae as well as a library of articles written for our newsletter can be found on our website: www.MyCTM.org.
